Mexican Five Pesos Gold coins in Uncirculated condition. Contains 4.1666 grams of Gold (0.1206 Troy oz) in a 90% composition (21.6 karat).
This was a circulating coin, issued from 1905 to 1920, and issued again in 1955. We only have the 1955 issue in stock, while these may have been circulated they were primarily owned as fractional bullion.
Design features the Mexican coat of arms depicting the Mexican golden eagle devouring a snake while perched atop a cactus on the obverse and a portrait of Mexican patriot Miguel Hidalgo on the reverse.
