Very beautiful bars minted by Johnson Matthey, a refiner that had been in business since 1817. Renowned the world over for the quality of their products and the reputation that endured for nearly 200 years, until the company was sold to Asahi of Japan in 2015. The Johnson Matthey name was retired and the new products are labelled Asahi.
Johnson Matthey Gold Bars are .9999 Pure Gold, serial numbered and sealed in plastic.
We have the older bars sealed in plastic from the mint with NO assay card, for a little more the green assay carded version.
