Engelhard Prospector Silver Round 1oz

These are the most coveted of all the private label minted silver rounds. Highly sought after by investors and collectors because of the fame and reputation of the Engelhard Company and their strict quality standards, Engelhard Prospectors have not been made in over 20 years.

These Engelhard Prospector silver bullion rounds contain 1 Troy Ounce .999+ Pure Silver and measure 39mm in diameter. All are dated, they were minted from 1982-1987.

Only dates in stock are 1984.

All have the kneeling prospector (panning for gold ironically, as silver is not found in alluvial deposits) on the obverse, while the design on the reverse was changed from the original Engelhard E-Globe logo in 1984 to an eagle.
