They made 100 gram (3.215 troy oz), 10 oz, 50 gram and other sizes, and shapes ranges from square to rectangular (like this one). This bar is likely from the 1960s or very early 1970s as they started making struck bars in the 1970s. Bar is marked Engelhard inside the famous cut-corner rectangle, with the weight and fineness above.
Engelhard stopped producing retail precious metals in the late 1980s, and the corporation was sold to BASF in 2006.
