2006 Canada Silver Wolf 1/2 Troy oz
Product Description
The Canadian Silver Wolf $1 coin was introduced in 2006 by the Royal Canadian Mint as a half-ounce option to the popular one-ounce Maple Leaf coins. As a bullion coin it turned out to be a commercial failure, and only 106,800 were minted before production was permanently halted.
These striking brilliant 999.9 fine silver uncirculated coins became extremely popular with collectors though, and by the end of year the Mint was sold-out.
These coins are still sealed in the original mint pliofilm, and feature Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse with "Canada 1 Dollar" underneath, and a Timber Wolf standing in snow silhouetted against a full moon on the reverse.
Very limited quantities.
