1997 American Silver Eagle $1 Unc

These 1997 U.S. Silver Eagles had a lower mintage than any other year except 1994 and 1996. Of course 1996 Eagles sell for double the price of any other year, these are not quite that rare but are priced a little higher than normal.

Since 1986 the US Mint has been producing the modern Silver Eagle. This coin is a legal tender silver coin with a face value of $1, and contains 1 Troy oz of .999 fine silver.
