This 1991-S Mount Rushmore Commemorative Silver Dollar Proof commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of Mount Rushmore National Park.
The obverse of the Dollar depicts the Mount Rushmore Memorial wreathed in laurel, while the reverse features the Heraldic Eagle Crest over a map of the United States.
The proof $1 Dollar silver coin was struck at the San Francisco Mint. It is made the same composition and size as the old (pre-1936) Silver Dollars- 90% silver, 10% copper, 38.5mm diameter and containing 0.7734 Troy oz of silver.
Includes all original U.S. Mint packing materials- acrylic coin holder, display box and certificate of authenticity.
