Frank Lloyd Wright (June 8, 1867 – April 9, 1959) was an architect, interior designer, writer and educator, who designed more than 1,000 structures and completed 500 works. Wright believed in designing structures which were in harmony with humanity and its environment, a philosophy he called organic architecture.
This medallion was struck by the U.S. Mint in .900 fine gold, containing exactly 0.5 Troy oz gold and 0.055 Troy oz of copper. Total weight is 0.555 Troy oz.
