1885-CC US Morgan Silver Dollar PCGS MS65
Product Description
1885-CC US Morgan Silver Dollar, graded MS-65 by PCGS.
Outstanding uncirculated example of one of the most highly sought after US coins, the Carson City Mint Morgans are the rarest and most desirable of the silver dollars. The 1885 mintage is one of the rarer dates, any Carson City dollar graded MS65 is rare so this is very desirable.
The Morgan Dollar was minted from 1878 to 1904, but minting was suspended until 1921 as there were too many in circulation. It was then replaced by the Peace Dollar, which was itself discontinued after 1935.
The Silver Dollar contains 0.772 Troy Oz of silver (90% silver alloyed with 10% copper).
